This high temperature, heat and flame resistant tadpole tape will withstand temperatures of 1800°F / 982°C continuous exposure. The base fabric is Ceramic Fiber and the bulb core is ceramic fiber rope or stainless steel / inconel mesh.
This material resists most acids and alkalis and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents. It is highly flexible and conformable.
Typical applications for this seal and gasket tadpole tape are for gate valves; oven, furnace and kiln door and access cover gaskets.
