This high temperature, heat and flame resistant tadpole tape will withstand temperatures of 1800°F / 982°C continuous exposure. The base fabric is a Silica material.
This material resists most acids and alkalis and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents. It is highly flexible and conformable.
The bulb material can be Silica Rope, Stainless Steel Mesh or Inconel Mesh.
Typical applications for this seal and gasket tadpole tape are for gate valves; oven, furnace and kiln door and access cover gaskets.
